Plant Pathology Conferences: The 3rd Plant Genomics Congress in Malaysia

Global Engage are announce, as part of their Next Generation Sequencing series of events, the 3rd Plant Genomics Congress Asia. This congress will be held on 11-12 April 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Last year the successful event, which was attended by over 200 people, will be co-hosted this year with the Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation and is the sister meeting to the American meeting and the European Plant Genomics Congress which took place in London.

The conference will examine the latest NGS platforms and Omic technologies suitable for progressing plant based research, attracting experts working in all areas of plant sciences including next generation sequencing, genomics, phenomics, proteomics, bioinformatics and data management.

To overcome bottlenecks and enable successful data analysis and management, the event focuses on aspects such as molecular marker development, breeding, crop/ trait improvement, disease/stress resistance, evolution studies and pathology as well understanding tools. In order to attract delegates across Asia Pacific region and beyond, presentations concentrate on, but are not limited to, regional and model crops such as rice, wheat, maize, barley, soybean, canola/rapeseed, arabidopsis, palm oil, etc.

The conference will provide an interactive networking forum to answer your queries through a vibrant exhibition room full of technology providers showcasing their technologies and other solutions, expert led case study presentations and interactive Q&A panel discussions examining topics through four separate tracks.

1. NGS / Omic Technologies for Plant Research

2. Plant Genomic Case Studies

3. Bioinformatics, Data Analysis & Management

4. Plant Genomic Case Studies
