Australasian Plant Pathology Society invite delegates to join them for the 2015 Australasian Plant Pathology Conference from 14-16 September 2015 in Fremantle, Western Australia.
For the conference we are putting together an exciting program of international and national speakers on a wide variety of plant pathology topics. These will be augmented by local speakers and poster presentations.
In addition there will be a series of workshops before and after the conference as well as field trips to view some of the problems facing agricultural and native plant species in WA.
As well as being the major port for Western Australia and a fishing port, Fremantle is a renowned tourist centre. It contains many buildings of historic significance and a wide cariety of cafes and restaurants to suit every taste, all within walking distance of the conference venue.
For those who want to venture further, Perth the capital of Western Australia is a short train ride away. Of course Perth and Fremantle are the gateway to the southwest corner of Australia, a recognised biodiversity hotspot. Located in the southwest corner are the giant Karri and Marri forests and the Margaret River wine region. Alternatively, head north from Perth to view the wild flowers for which WA is world famous.
